Elgibility Criteria

Age Limit

For General/ UR Candidates: 35 years (As on 01.08.2019)

Relaxation in the upper age limit is as follows

05 years for SC/ST candidates
03 years for OBC candidates

Candidates falling in the categories of Dogras, Marathas, Garhwalis, Kumaonis, and candidates belonging to the States of Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Assam, Sikkim, Nagaland, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir
Male: 165 cms
Female: 155 cms
Candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes categories
Male: 162.5 cms
Female: 154 cms

Chest:

For all candidates (Except Scheduled Tribes)
Male: : 80-85 cms
All candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes.
Male: 77-82 cms

Physical Efficiency Test

For Male candidates:

High Jump 3.9 feet in 3 chances
1.6 km race in 6 minutes 30 seconds
Shot Put (16 Lbs) 14.8 feet in 3 opportunities
Long Jump 12 feet in 3 chances
100 Meters 1 run in 16 seconds

For female candidates

800 Meters race in 4 minutes
100 Meters race in 18 Seconds
High Jump 3 feet in 3 chances
Long Jump 9 feet in 3 chances

Medical Standards

Visual Acuity unaided (NEAR VISION) – Better eye- N6, Worse eye- N9
Uncorrected visual acuity (DISTANT VISION) – Better eye- 6/6, Worse eye- 6/9
Refraction – Visual correction of any kind is not permitted even by glasses.

In the written examination, the questions will cover on- General Intelligence and Reasoning (50 questions),
General Awareness and Professional knowledge (50 questions),
Numerical Ability (50 questions), Comprehension and Communication skill (50 questions)

CISF ASI Exam Pattern 2019

written exam will comprise of OMR based question paper. There shall be one objective question paper with multiple choices consisting of 200 marks. Duration will be 3 ½ hours.
